What this MCB does in the panel
B-curve means the breaker holds through normal resistive load starts but trips fast on a hard short — no nuisance tripping on transformer inrush or motor starting, unlike a C-curve that would let more through. The 10 kA per EN 60898-1 is the standard you need for most building distribution panels; the 35 kA per IEC 60947-2 is the industrial rating that tells the site electrical engineer the unit can clear a high-fault bus without cascading upstream. Rated for 400 V AC (440 V max multi-phase) and 60 V DC (72 V max), with overvoltage category III and pollution degree 3 — so it lives in fixed installations, not clean-room switchgear.
