Watch the temperature derate
The 5SY4406-7: That 6 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient. In a warm cabinet — say 50 °C — the continuous current drops to 5.41 A, and at 60 °C it's 5.09 A. If you're slotting this next to a drive or transformer that drives the internal temperature up, factor in the derate rather than nuisance tripping. The breaker itself can handle up to 75 °C ambient and as low as -40 °C, so the limits are generous; it's the trip curve that shifts.
Mounting and layout
It snaps onto DIN rail using the quick-assembly system — no tools needed. The neutral conductor is not switched (4P but neutral pass-through), so plan your phase-to-neutral distribution accordingly. Top and bottom terminals accept the same size conductors. Sealable cover is standard if the panel needs tamper-proofing.
