Rated current and selectivity
The 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 covers most commercial and light-industrial fault levels; the 5 kA rating per UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No. 235 is the figure to use for North American panel schedules. At 40 °C the breaker carries 23.5 A before thermal derating; at 50 °C it holds 21.9 A, and at 55 °C it holds 21.05 A — so a 25 A breaker on a 20 A continuous load in a 50 °C panel is fine, but pushing a 24 A load at 55 °C will trip on thermal after sustained operation.
Snap-on DIN rail mount, any position. IP20 with connected conductors — this is a dry-location panel breaker, not for washdown environments. The quick-assembly system and sealable toggle let the panel builder lock out unauthorized operation after commissioning.
