Rated at 230 V AC for single-phase operation (250 V max), it handles the usual 50/60 Hz supply found on the floor.
Breaking capacity — the number that matters for fault duty
This breaker carries two breaking-capacity ratings because it's certified to both the residential/light-commercial standard (EN 60898-1) and the industrial standard (IEC 60947-2). Under EN 60898-1 it's rated 10 kA at 230 V AC; under IEC 60947-2 it jumps to 35 kA at 230 V AC. For DC circuits, it's rated 15 kA at 60 V (72 V max). It also carries a UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No.235 listing at 5 kA, so it's accepted in North American panels that recognize supplementary protectors. If your BOM calls for a breaker that meets both IEC and UL, this one covers both without a second line item.
Mounting and environmental fit
Snaps onto any DIN rail (the 'quick assembly system' fastening), and the combined top and bottom terminals let you daisy-chain busbars or wire in and out without extra jumpers. The sealable option (padlockable toggle) is handy for lockout/tagout on a machine circuit. Rated IP20 with conductors connected — that's typical for inside a closed panel, not for washdown areas.
