It breaks 10 kA at 230 V AC per EN 60898, which means it handles high inrush loads like motor starters or transformer primaries without nuisance tripping — the D curve allows 10–20× rated current for short spikes. Designed for railway applications, it carries an overvoltage category III rating and operates from -40 to +70 °C ambient.
Terminals accept 0.75 to 35 mm² solid or stranded copper, torqued to 2.5–3.5 N·m. Both top and bottom have combined terminals (neutral and phase), and the neutral pole is switched. Sealable and touch-protected per IP20 with connected conductors.
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction. Storage range -40 to +75 °C; ambient operating range -40 to +70 °C. Humidity tolerance: max 95% at 55 °C, derating to 55% at 70 °C and 35% at 75 °C. Mounting position any; power supply cord position any. Designed per DIN EN 61346-2 and DIN EN 81346-2 (function code F).
