What this MCB does for a panel
The Siemens SENTRON 5SY4513-7CC is a 1P+N miniature circuit breaker rated 13 A at 35 °C with a C tripping curve and a 10 kA breaking capacity tested to EN 60898. It switches the line and switches the neutral, so you get full isolation on both poles in a single 2-module-width package — no separate neutral block needed downstream. The C curve means it holds through moderate inrush — think motorized valves, small contactor coils, or a handful of LED drivers — without nuisance tripping, but it still clears fast on a hard short.
Derating that matters at the panel
The 13 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient. At 40 °C it derates to 11.95 A, at 45 °C to 11.38 A, at 50 °C to 10.78 A, and at 55 °C to 10.15 A (–). If your panel runs warm — say a packed enclosure with drives or transformers — size the load to the derated figure, not the catalog number. Humidity limits track the temperature: max 95% RH up to 55 °C, then dropping to 55% at 70 °C and 35% at 75 °C.
