It breaks 10 kA per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2, with a UL 1077 / CSA 5 kA rating for North American panels. The 72 V DC maximum rating covers control-circuit applications. Current lifecycle status — no phase-out notice.
The 10 kA rating under EN 60898 is the standard residential/commercial short-circuit capacity; the 15 kA under IEC 60947-2 gives headroom for industrial panelboards where fault levels run higher. The 5 kA UL 1077 rating means it qualifies as a supplementary protector in UL panels — not a branch-circuit main, but fine for downstream subfeeds. Class A tripping (instantaneous threshold around 2–3× In) suits sensitive loads like control transformers or electronics where a C-curve would nuisance-trip on inrush.
Two width units (36 mm) on DIN rail, 70 mm installation depth. The quick-assembly mounting system snaps onto standard EN 60715 rail. Terminals accept 0.75–35 mm² solid or stranded — big enough for 63 A feeder conductors without pigtailing. IP20 with conductors connected; sealable and halogen/silicon-free, so it goes into food-bev or clean-room panels without outgassing concerns. Ambient range -40 to +70 °C covers most enclosure interiors; derate above 40 °C per the thermal curve.
