At 35 °C this MCB carries its full 80 A. At 40 °C it derates to 76.16 A, at 45 °C to 74.16 A, at 50 °C to 72.16 A, at 55 °C to 70 A, and at 60 °C to 67.84 A. If your panel runs warm — and most enclosed distribution boards do — the 40 °C figure is the one to spec against, not the 35 °C headline.
