Fit and derating
The 1 A rating is at 35 °C ambient; at 40 °C it's 0.95 A, at 50 °C it's 0.9 A, and at 60 °C it's 0.85 A. If your panel hits 60 °C, you're not getting a full amp out of this pole.
Characteristic A — what that means
Characteristic A trips between 2 and 3 times rated current — that's fast and sensitive. It's the curve for semiconductor protection, control transformers, or any load where a short spike shouldn't hold. Not the curve for motor starting (that's C or D). The 1 A rating means it's sized for small-signal circuits, not branch power.
Listed to IEC / EN 60898-1 and IEC / EN 60947-2 / UL1077. Halogen-free and silicon-free — relevant if you're sealing the panel or putting it in a clean environment. Sealable and touch-protected. The brand provides standard RoHS/REACH declarations on request; the UL1077 listing covers US acceptance for supplementary protection.
