Ratings that matter for fit
The 8 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient; at 40 °C it derates to 7.52 A, at 50 °C to 7.01 A, and at 60 °C to 6.46 A. If your panel runs hot — say a sealed enclosure near a furnace line — you need to account for that drop. The breaker occupies 4 modular width units (72 mm wide, 90 mm tall, 76 mm deep, 70 mm installation depth), so it takes four standard 18 mm DIN-rail slots. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution) and overvoltage category III mean it's rated for fixed installations inside a panel, not for outdoor or wet locations. IP20 with connected conductors — finger-safe once wired, but not washdown-rated.
Panel integration notes
Mounts on DIN rail via the quick assembly system — snaps on without tools, releases with a screwdriver push. Any mounting position is allowed, so you can lay it horizontally in a shallow enclosure if needed. Combined terminals top and bottom accept copper conductors; the sealable design lets you lock the toggle position after commissioning to prevent unauthorized reset. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction matters for clean-room or aerospace-adjacent panels where outgassing is a concern. Touch protection is built in — no exposed live parts after wiring.
