What this 4-pole D-curve MCB does on the rail
Four poles, wired 3P+N, with the neutral pole switched — the breaker opens all live conductors, not just the phases, which matters for any circuit where an isolated neutral is required after the breaker opens. Breaking capacity is 10 kA per EN 60898 at 400 V AC, and the multi-phase rating goes to 440 V AC — enough for most industrial panel secondary distribution where the fault current at the sub-distribution board stays under 10 kA.
Mounting and wiring — what fits
Mounting position is any — vertical, horizontal, upside-down — no derating required for orientation. Terminals accept solid or stranded copper from 0.75 mm² up to 35 mm², with a tightening torque of 2.5 to 3.5 N·m. Combined terminal design at both top and bottom means the same clamp works for cable entry and busbar connection. The breaker is sealable and touch-protected with conductors connected.
