50 A B-curve MCB for distribution and machine panels
The 3P+N design switches all three phases and switches the neutral, which matters for TN-S or TN-C-S systems where neutral isolation is required during maintenance or fault clearing.
Thermal derating and ambient conditions
The 50 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient. At 45 °C it derates to 47 A, at 50 °C to 45.95 A, at 55 °C to 44.9 A, and at 60 °C to 43.8 A. If the panel runs hot — say 50 °C inside the enclosure — the breaker's continuous current capability drops by about 8%, so the connected load must be sized accordingly. IP20 with connected conductors is standard for panel-mounted breakers; the enclosure provides the overall IP rating.
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction matters in clean environments — semiconductor fabs, battery lines, or food processing areas where outgassing from a fault could contaminate product or sensitive electronics. The touch-protected terminals reduce the risk of accidental contact during panel maintenance.
