Its 10 kA breaking capacity at 220 V DC per IEC 60947-2 means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without welding or arcing over — critical for protecting DC control supplies, battery-backed circuits, and industrial auxiliary loads where the arc extinction is harder than on AC. This is a DC-specific device, not a dual-rated AC/DC breaker.
