The Siemens SENTRON 5SY5163-6KK11 is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker with a B tripping characteristic, rated 63 A at 35 °C and 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898. Rated for universal current (AC/DC), this breaker handles 63 A AC and 220 V DC. On DC circuits, polarity must be observed — the supply cord position note in the spec says AC can be wired either way, but DC needs the correct orientation to maintain arc extinction inside the chamber. That matters if you're pulling this into a DC bus or battery-backed control circuit.
The 63 A rating is at 35 °C ambient. In a typical enclosed panel running at 40 °C, the breaker is good for 59.16 A. At 50 °C it drops to 55.06 A, and at 60 °C it's 50.65 A. If your load is close to 63 A and the panel runs warm, you need to either upsize the breaker or improve ventilation — the derating curve is the deciding factor, not the nameplate number.
