DC ratings and temperature derating
The 2 A rating at 35 °C drops to 1.5 A at 60 °C — a 25 % derate that matters if the breaker lives near a hot transformer or in a sealed cabinet. The C-curve (magnetic trip at 5–10× In) handles moderate inrush from DC motors or solenoid valves without nuisance trips. At 440 V DC the breaking capacity is 10 kA; at 500 V DC the maximum operating voltage, the same 10 kA holds per IEC 60947-2.
Railway-specific construction
Designed for railway applications, the breaker meets vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6: ±1 mm at 5–25 Hz and 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction avoids toxic off-gassing in a tunnel or passenger compartment. Sealable terminals let a maintainer lock the cover after commissioning. Combined top and bottom terminals simplify daisy-chaining in a distribution panel.
