The Siemens SENTRON 5SY5206-7KK11 is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker with C-curve tripping characteristic, rated 6 A at AC and carrying a 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898.
At 6 A it handles a 1.5 kW motor on 400 V three-phase or a lighting bank drawing 1.4 kW single-phase. Temperature derating is published: at 40 °C ambient the breaker carries 5.63 A, at 50 °C it drops to 5.24 A, and at 60 °C it's 4.82 A. If the panel runs hot — say inside a non-ventilated enclosure near a drive — size up one frame or the breaker nuisance-trips on a warm day. The 2-pole design switches both phase and neutral on single-phase circuits; neutral conductor switching is not fitted (: No), so it does not break the neutral on three-phase loads. For DC circuits, polarity must be observed.
The quick-assembly fastening system clips onto standard DIN rail. Installation depth is 70 mm — account for wiring space behind the rail. Sealable so the panel builder can lock the toggle position after commissioning.
