Environmental and derating considerations
Ambient temperature range is -40 °C to 75 °C, but the continuous current rating must be derated above 55 °C: the breaker is rated for max 95 % humidity at 55 °C, 55 % at 70 °C, and 35 % at 75 °C. In a hot panel, the 32 A nominal rating may need to be reduced — the C-curve thermal element responds to ambient temperature, so a 32 A breaker in a 70 °C enclosure may trip below 32 A on a sustained load. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6 is ±1 mm displacement at 5 to 25 Hz and 50 m/s² acceleration at 25 to 150 Hz — adequate for installation on machinery or in enclosures subject to typical industrial vibration, but not rated for continuous high-amplitude vibration near rotating equipment without additional support.
