DC-rated 4-pole MCB for industrial DC bus protection
Its C-curve tripping characteristic (5–10× In) handles moderate inrush from DC motor drives, contactor coils, and control transformers without nuisance trips. Rated 20 A at 35 °C ambient, it derates to 17.4 A at 55 °C — the 55 °C figure is the one to size against if the breaker sits in a warm cabinet next to drives or power supplies. Breaking capacity is 10 kA at 880 V DC per IEC 60947-2, and 5 kA per UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 — so it clears a hard DC bus fault up to that level without cascading upstream. The 4-pole design (4P) switches both poles of a two-wire DC circuit plus two auxiliary poles, or handles a split DC bus. Polarity must be observed on the supply cord connection.
Snap-on quick assembly system; mounting position any orientation. Touch protection is built in. Sealable — panel builders can lock the setting with a lead seal after commissioning. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction for sensitive environments like food processing or semiconductor fabs.
