The Siemens SENTRON 5SY6010-7CC is a 1P+N miniature circuit breaker with a C-curve tripping characteristic, rated 10 A at 230 V AC, and a 6 kA breaking capacity per IEC/EN 60898-1. It switches both phase and neutral, so the neutral is disconnected when the breaker trips — no separate neutral bar needed downstream.
IP20 with connected conductors — fine for a dry indoor panel, not for washdown.
Listed as current production. No official successor — this is the active line.
C-curve trips at 5–10× rated current (50–100 A for this 10 A unit), so it's sized for moderate inrush loads like small motors, lighting banks, and transformer primaries — not for purely resistive heaters (B-curve would be tighter) nor high-inrush drives (D-curve).
Vibration-resistant per IEC 60068-2-6. Overvoltage category III, pollution degree 2 — suitable for fixed-installation distribution panels. Sealable for tamper-proofing in metered or secured enclosures.
