It breaks fault currents up to 6 kA per IEC 60898 and 5 kA per UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 — the UL figure is the one to use for North American panel listings.
Derating and ambient conditions — the real-world rating
The 25 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient. Above that the breaker derates: 22.98 A at 40 °C, 21.88 A at 45 °C, 20.72 A at 50 °C, and 19.53 A at 55 °C. If the panel runs hot — say 50 °C inside a sealed cabinet — the continuous load must stay under 20.72 A, not 25 A. The operating range spans -40 to 75 °C, and humidity is capped at 95% up to 55 °C, then 55% up to 70 °C, then 35% up to 75 °C. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6 is ±1 mm at 5 to 25 Hz and 50 m/s² at 25 to 150 Hz.
The 90 mm height and 18 mm width (1 MW) mean it occupies one slot in a standard distribution board.
