Breaking capacity is 6 kA per EN 60898-1 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2 / UL1077. The dual rating matters: the 6 kA figure is the standard for domestic-style MCBs, but the 15 kA IEC 60947-2 rating is what you need for industrial panels where the prospective fault current can be higher.
Thermal derating — the real-world current you get
The 32 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient. Above that, the thermal-magnetic trip element derates: 30.46 A at 40 °C, 29.66 A at 45 °C, 28.86 A at 50 °C, and 28 A at 55 °C. Factor that into your load calculation so you don't get unexpected trips on a warm day. It's also sealable — you can lock the toggle in the off position for lockout/tagout compliance.
Physical fit and mounting
Dimensions: 18 mm wide, 90 mm high, 76 mm deep. The quick-assembly fastening method is the standard DIN-rail clip — push on, pull off with a screwdriver. IP20 with connected conductors — that's the usual for panel-mounted MCBs. Not for wet locations, but fine inside a rated enclosure. Touch protection is built in (fingertip-safe terminals when wired).
