The Siemens 5SY6208-7CC is a SENTRON 2-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) with a C-curve trip characteristic, rated 8 A at 40 °C and 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898. This is the part you grab for a panel that needs a 2-module-width (36 mm) MCB — quick-assembly mounting, snaps onto DIN rail, any orientation accepted.
The 8 A rating is the continuous current at 40 °C ambient — push it to 45 °C and you're down to 7 A; at 55 °C, 6.25 A. The derating curve is published, so don't just look at the 35 °C value (8 A) when the panel runs hot. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution, dry or temporary condensation) means it's fine inside a typical IP54 panel.

2 modular width units (36 mm wide, 90 mm tall, 76 mm deep to the front of the housing, 70 mm installation depth behind the panel). Combined terminals top and bottom — same clamp accepts your incoming and outgoing conductors. Sealable, so you can lock the toggle position for tamper-proof circuits.
