It's sized for a 2-pole AC circuit up to 440 V (single- or multi-phase) and 50/60 Hz. The top and bottom terminals are combined (screw and clamp), so you can land a busbar or a wire without changing parts. Supplementary devices like shunt trips or auxiliary contacts can be added on the side — useful if you need remote tripping or status feedback in a PLC-controlled panel. That covers unheated storage in cold climates and warm panels near machinery.
