For UL 1077-listed supplementary protection, it carries a 5 kA interrupting rating.
Where you'd use it
This breaker is rated for mechanical engineering and industrial environments (pollution degree 3, overvoltage category III). The C-curve suits it for motor branch circuits, conveyor drives, and control transformers where the starting surge is a few times the running current. It's halogen-free and silicon-free, which matters if you're building to clean-room or sensitive-electronics specs — no corrosive off-gassing in a fire, no silicone contamination near coating or bonding lines.
