It's built for panel-mounted overcurrent and short-circuit protection in industrial control cabinets, mechanical engineering, and general distribution.
Breaking capacity — what the dual rating means
For DC circuits, the breaker is rated 15 kA at 60 V per IEC 60947-2 — useful if you're protecting a 60 VDC control bus or a battery-backed circuit in the same enclosure.
Thermal derating — don't ignore it
The 2 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient. At 40 °C it drops to 1.9 A, at 45 °C to 1.85 A, at 50 °C to 1.8 A, and at 55 °C to 1.75 A.
Mounting position any, so you can lay it sideways in a shallow gland plate if needed. IP20 with conductors connected — fine inside a closed panel; not for wet or washdown zones. Pollution degree 3, overvoltage category III, so it's rated for the transient environment of a fixed industrial installation.
