The Siemens 5SY6314-8CC is a SENTRON miniature circuit breaker (MCB) in the 5SY6CC design, rated at 0.3 A on a D tripping curve. That D-curve means it tolerates inrush currents up to 10–20× rated current before tripping magnetically — sized for motor or transformer branch circuits where the start-up surge would nuisance-trip a B or C curve.
