Breaking capacity — the real-world fault rating
This breaker carries two breaking-capacity ratings because it is certified under two standards. At 400 V AC, it interrupts 6 kA per EN 60898 (the domestic / light commercial standard) and 30 kA per IEC 60947-2 (the industrial standard). For DC circuits, the IEC 60947-2 rating is 15 kA at 72 V DC maximum. UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 listing gives 5 kA at AC for North American acceptance.
The combined terminal design (screw clamp or similar) is the same top and bottom, so you can feed from either end without a special busbar adapter. Touch protection is built in (IP20 with connected conductors), and the terminals are sealable for panel-lockout programs.
Humidity tolerance: 95% at 55 °C, derating to 35% at 75 °C. Mounting position is any orientation. Overvoltage category III, pollution degree typical for industrial panels. Compliance documentation (RoHS, REACH, CE, UL, CSA) is available with the product — the UL 1077 listing at 5 kA covers North American acceptance.
