The 1P+N pole configuration switches the phase and monitors the neutral, common in single-phase branch circuits where neutral protection is specified. Breaking capacity is rated 6 kA per EN 60898 for general distribution and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2 for industrial panel duty; the higher figure means it can interrupt fault currents up to 15 kA at 230 V AC without welding contacts or cascading failure upstream. The UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 rating of 5 kA at AC covers installations under North American supplemental protection rules — not a branch-circuit-rated breaker per UL 489, so verify the panel's SCCR requirement before specifying it into a UL 508A listed assembly.
Panel integration
Terminal accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.75 to 35 mm², which covers most branch-circuit wiring from 1.5 mm² lighting circuits up to 10 mm² feeder tails. Combined top and bottom terminals simplify daisy-chaining busbars. IP20 with connected conductors; not rated for washdown environments.
