The B-curve (3–5× In) trips fast on short-circuit but tolerates moderate inrush — a good fit for resistive loads and general-purpose lighting circuits where you don't want nuisance trips from motor starts. Breaking capacity is 25 kA per EN 60898 and 40 kA per IEC 60947-2. Rated current derates with ambient temperature: 6 A at 35 °C, 5.63 A at 40 °C, 5.44 A at 45 °C, 5.24 A at 50 °C, 5.04 A at 55 °C, and 4.82 A at 60 °C.
