Its 50 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC (per IEC 60947-2) tells you this breaker can safely interrupt a fault current up to 50,000 A without welding contacts or cascading damage upstream — critical for high-fault panels near large transformers or motor control centers. The 2-pole design switches both line conductors; neutral is not switched, which is standard for most industrial loads. The 72 V DC maximum means it can also serve DC control circuits, but only up to that voltage.
The breaker is sealable for tamper-proof installations. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6 covers ±1 mm at 5–25 Hz and 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz — adequate for most industrial machinery but not for extreme shock loads.
