The breaker is designed for mechanical engineering and general industrial panel applications where overcurrent and short-circuit protection of branch circuits is needed.
At 35 °C the breaker carries a full 25 A; derate to 24.01 A at 40 °C, 23.5 A at 45 °C, 22.98 A at 50 °C, 22.45 A at 55 °C, and 21.9 A at 60 °C. If your enclosure runs warm, size the load to the derated figure, not the 35 °C nameplate. Breaking capacity is 15 kA per EN 60898-1 and 25 kA per IEC 60947-2 / UL1077. The higher 25 kA figure applies when the breaker is used as an industrial circuit breaker per IEC 60947-2 — useful if your fault-current study shows available current between 15 and 25 kA at the panel. Sealable with a lockout tag, touch-protected terminals, and combined top/bottom terminals simplify wiring and lockout compliance.
