The Siemens SENTRON 5SY7350-7CC is a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker with a C tripping characteristic, rated 50 A at 400 V AC. It breaks 20 kA per IEC 60947-2 — enough to clear a bolted fault on a distribution subfeed without upstream coordination headaches. For UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 applications, the interrupting rating is 5 kA, so check the available fault current if the panel is built to North American code.
Fit and footprint
Three modular-width units (54 mm wide) snap onto the standard DIN rail. Depth is 76 mm, installation depth 70 mm — leaves enough finger space in a 200 mm deep enclosure. Mounts in any position; the quick-assembly system means no tools for the rail clip. IP20 with conductors connected, so it's a panel-interior part, not a field-mounted disconnect.
Environmental and mechanical
Rated for -40 °C to 75 °C ambient, with humidity derating above 55 °C. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6: ±1 mm at 5–25 Hz, 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz — survives the floor of a typical machine skid. Mechanical life is 10,000 cycles typical, which is standard for an MCB in a panel that sees occasional switching, not daily cycling.
