The 5SY7432-6: The 15 kA rating under EN 60898 covers the residential and light commercial fault-current range. That IEC number is the one your arc-flash study cares about when you're coordinating downstream loads in a panel with a transformer feeding high available current.
Thermal derating and ambient limits
At 35 °C ambient the 5SY7432-6 carries its full 32 A. At 40 °C it derates to 30.72 A, at 50 °C to 29.41 A, and at 60 °C to 28.03 A.
The combined terminals on top and bottom accept incoming and outgoing conductors in the same clamp — saves a busbar or a jumper in multi-pole setups.
Construction and environment
