What this MCB covers
It provides overcurrent and short-circuit protection for branch circuits in industrial control panels, distribution boards, and machinery. Breaking capacity is 30 kA at 400 V AC per IEC 60947-2, and 5 kA per UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 — enough for most industrial fault levels. The 2-pole version switches both line and neutral, with neutral conductor switching built in. Rated current derates with ambient temperature: 5.67 A at 40 °C, 5.5 A at 45 °C, 5.32 A at 50 °C, and 5.13 A at 55 °C. If the panel runs warm, size up one frame to avoid nuisance tripping.
Touch protection is built in. Sealable design allows lockout/tagout for maintenance isolation.
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6: ±1 mm at 5–25 Hz, 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz.
