It breaks faults at 15 kA per EN 60898 and 25 kA per IEC 60947-2, with a UL 1077 / CSA rating of 5 kA. That 25 kA IEC figure means it can interrupt high-energy faults without upstream coordination — useful in industrial panels where the transformer can dump serious current into a short.
At 36 mm wide (2 width units), it slots into a standard DIN-rail panel without crowding adjacent breakers. The 76 mm depth plus 70 mm installation depth means it fits shallow enclosures where a deeper breaker would hit the gland plate. Mount in any position; the quick-assembly system snaps onto the rail without tools. In a hot panel near a drive or transformer, expect the breaker to run warmer — the B-curve still holds, but ambient heat reduces the headroom before nuisance tripping.
