The 63 A rating at AC is the nominal current at 40 °C ambient. At higher panel temperatures the breaker derates: 59.54 A at 40 °C, 57.71 A at 45 °C, 55.82 A at 50 °C, and 53.86 A at 55 °C. If your panel runs warm, size the load to the derated value, not the 63 A label. Breaking capacity is 20 kA per IEC 60947-2, and 5 kA per UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235. The breaker switches the neutral conductor (1P+N configuration) — the neutral pole is switched but not protected against overcurrent. That's standard for single-phase branch circuits where neutral protection isn't required by code, but check your local wiring rules if you expect a fully protected neutral.
Deployment context
Sealable, halogen-free, silicon-free construction suits food, pharma, or clean-room panels where outgassing matters. Rated for mechanical engineering and industry per the suitability listing. Vibration resistance tested to IEC 60068-2-6: ±1 mm at 5–25 Hz, 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz — survives normal machine vibration without nuisance tripping.
