The 2-pole (1P+N) construction includes neutral conductor switching, so it fully isolates the load when tripped.
The D-curve trips at 10–20× rated current, so on a 1 A breaker you get a magnetic trip between 10 A and 20 A. That makes it the right choice for a 1 A motor or a small transformer primary where the inrush would punch through a C-curve. At DC, it's rated 15 kA up to 72 V, so it also works in DC auxiliary circuits. The 5 kA rating per UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No.235 covers North American acceptance. The 2-pole (1P+N) format with neutral switching means the neutral is opened and closed with the line pole, not just a solid link. That's required for TN-S or TT systems where you want full isolation on the load side. The breaker occupies 2 modular width units (36 mm) on a DIN rail, with a 76 mm depth and 70 mm installation depth — fits standard 80 mm deep enclosures.
Environmental and compliance profile
Rated for ambient temperatures from -40 °C to 75 °C, with derating above 55 °C per the humidity table (95% RH at 55 °C, 55% at 70 °C, 35% at 75 °C). Halogen-free and silicon-free construction suits clean environments like semiconductor fabs or food processing. Sealable with a lockable cover to prevent tampering.
