Breaking capacity sits at 30 kA per IEC 60947-2 at 50/60 Hz, with a DC rating of 15 kA per the same standard. That 30 kA figure covers most industrial panel fault levels up to the service entrance; the 15 kA DC side handles battery-backed control circuits or DC bus feeds. This is a 2-pole unit configured as 1P+N — it switches both line and neutral, with the neutral pole switching but not protected. The neutral conductor switching feature means you get a single-break isolation on the neutral path, useful in panels where a switched neutral is required by code or machine design.
Panel fit and derating
Temperature derating is published: full 20 A at 45 °C, 19.38 A at 50 °C, 18.74 A at 55 °C. If this breaker lands in a hot panel next to drives or transformers, factor the derating curve into the load calcs. Pollution degree 3, overvoltage category III, vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6 (50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz).
Rated per IEC 60947-2 (30 kA AC, 15 kA DC) and UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 (5 kA). The UL 1077 rating is supplementary protector level — check your panel SCCR study; for branch-circuit protection you need the full IEC 60947-2 rating. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction; sealable with a lockable cover for lockout/tagout.
