The interrupting capacity is 30 kA per IEC 60947-2 (400 V AC), which covers most industrial distribution boards fed by a transformer of 630 kVA or less; the DC rating is 15 kA at 72 V, useful for control-circuit or battery-backed loads. For UL 489 / UL 1077 installations the SCCR is 5 kA at 277/480 V — confirm the available fault current at the panelboard before specifying.
