The Siemens 5TT5000-0 is a SENTRON Insta contactor — a compact, DIN-rail-mounted switching device with 2 normally-open (NO) contacts, rated for 230 V AC operating voltage and a 230 V AC / 220 V DC control coil. The 2 NO contact arrangement (zero NC contacts) means this contactor is intended for make-only switching — it closes both poles when the coil is energized and opens them when de-energized. No auxiliary break contacts are built in, so any interlocking or status feedback must come from external auxiliary contact blocks (the design supports add-on supplementary devices).
The coil is rated for 230 V AC and also accepts 220 V DC. Per-pole power loss is 1.7 W in hot operating state at rated current. The 71 mm depth and 90 mm height are standard for a 1-MW-unit SENTRON device, so it will fit alongside miniature circuit breakers and other modular gear on the same DIN rail.
The 17.5 mm width (1 MW) and 64 mm installation depth (behind the rail) leave room for wiring in a typical distribution board. The spacer requirement for heat dissipation means you should leave at least a few millimeters between this contactor and adjacent devices — don't stack them flange-to-flange.
