What it is and what it does
The Siemens 5TT5830-6 is a SENTRON insta contactor with four normally-open (NO) contacts and zero NC contacts. It's designed for switching loads up to 400 V and 25 A, controlled by a 230 V AC coil. The 2000 W incandescent lamp switching capacity tells you it can handle tungsten inrush, which is a common test for lighting panels. Out here in the panel, that 2.2 W power loss per pole at rated current means it won't cook the neighboring devices if you leave breathing room — and the manufacturer explicitly says you need spacers for heat dissipation.
Panel fit and integration
This contactor snaps onto DIN rail and takes up 2 modular width units (36 mm wide, 90 mm tall, 71 mm deep). The IP20 rating means it's protected against finger contact but not washdown — keep it inside the enclosure, not out on the route where grease and coolant fly. The 4 NO contact arrangement is common for switching multiple loads simultaneously, like a bank of lights or a group of small motors. And yes, you can bolt on supplementary devices — the product extension flag is set to yes.
