What this PLC handles at the panel
The 6AG1010-1AU00-4AA0: Rated supply 110-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, so it runs straight off a standard control transformer without a separate 24 VDC power supply — one less rail to wire. Four digital inputs and a relay output with current ratings from 0.25 A at 125 VDC up to 6 A at 120 VAC, covering pilot-duty solenoids, contactor coils, and indicator loads in a small machine section.
Wiring and environment
Terminals accept 1x 0.5-4.0 mm² or 2x 0.5-2.5 mm² solid wire — enough for a daisy-chained supply or dual-signal return without a separate junction point.
Built-in control functions
Includes direct start, reverse starting, Dahlander circuit, valve control, slide control, and current detection — the logic for a reversing motor or a two-speed winding is already in the firmware, no extra ladder blocks needed. Test function and I&M3 comment support mean a technician can force outputs and read the module identity over the bus during commissioning without a laptop at the cabinet.
