What you're looking at
The 6AG1040-1LA01-2AA0: SIPLUS S120 CU310-2 PN — the conformal-coated, extended-temp version of the standard drive controller. It's based on the 6SL3040-1LA01-0AA0 but ruggedized for environments where condensation, vibration, or temperature swings would kill a standard unit. Two PROFINET ports handle the real-time motion bus; the three failsafe inputs (optionally parameterizable as safe inputs) let you drop a safety-rated PLC off the loop without a separate module. Operating range from -20 to +55 °C with storage down to -40 °C. That's the kind of headroom you want for a control cabinet on a cold storage line or a plant floor that sees washdown cycles.
