The Siemens 6AG1052-1CC01-2BA6 is the SIPLUS version of the LOGO! 24C logic module, built for extended temperature operation from -25 to +70 °C with conformal coating. It is an active, current-production variant (per lifecycle status), based on the standard 6ED1052-1CC01-0BA6 but with enhanced environmental resistance. This makes it the choice for unconditioned enclosures, cold stores, or areas with condensation risk. Key functional specs: 8 digital inputs, 4 of which can be configured as 0-10 V analog inputs; 4 transistor outputs; power reserve of 80 hours for data retention. The display brightness varies with temperature—bright below 0 °C, dim above 55 °C—and returns to normal when within the standard range. The 70 °C maximum ambient is valid for non-UL applications; under UL/cUL certification (File E120869) the limit is 55 °C. Operation above 55 °C also requires derating the supply voltage range (22 V to 27.5 V DC) and output current per channel (0.2 A instead of 0.3 A). These constraints make the UL derating the practical ceiling for most panel builds that require a cUL mark.
