Function & operation
The module scans 8 digital inputs and drives 4 relay outputs — the relay contacts handle higher inrush loads than transistor outputs, making them suitable for direct switching of small motors, contactors, or solenoid valves up to the relay's rated current. The 400-block memory holds ladder or function-block logic for standalone machine control or as a remote I/O node on an Ethernet network. Ethernet connectivity supports programming via LOGO! Soft Comfort V8 or higher, integrated web server for diagnostics, data logging, and user-defined web pages. The conformal coating and -25 to 70 °C operating range suit installations in condensation-prone or temperature-cycling environments such as outdoor enclosures or cold storage areas.
