This is the ruggedised version of the LOGO! 12/24RCE – the one you pick when the standard 0–55°C unit won't survive the environment. 6AG1052-1MD00-7BA8 carries a conformal coating and stretches the operating range from -40°C to +70°C, so it belongs in freezer lines, engine rooms, or any panel that sees condensation or coolant mist. On the inside it's still the same 400-block LOGO! with 8 digital inputs (4 usable as 0-10 V analog), 4 relay outputs, and an Ethernet port with integrated web server. The display works normally between 0°C and 55°C; outside that window the legibility drops temporarily but recovers when temperatures return – no permanent damage.
How it compares to the standard LOGO!
The standard 6ED1052-1MD00-0BA6 runs 0°C to 55°C, has no conformal coating, and carries an 80-hour power reserve. This SIPLUS variant takes the temperature range down to -40°C and up to 70°C, stretches the power reserve to 480 hours, and adds coating for resistance to diesel oil droplets and coolants. Same mounting on 35 mm DIN rail, same 71.5 mm width (4 spacing units), same wiring layout – so if your panel was built around the standard module, this drops in without a rewire. The only difference you'll feel at the terminals is the broader supply range: 10.8 to 28.8 VDC, same as the base unit.
