Extended-range SIPLUS variant for harsh environments
The 6AG1052-2CC01-7BA8: The conformal coating resists coolant and oil droplets in the air, so this module holds the unit on the grid in machine-tool sump areas or engine test cells where airborne hydrocarbons are the norm.
I/O complement and analog-capable inputs
Eight digital inputs are on board, four of which can be switched to analog mode accepting 0–10 V signals — enough to read a pressure transmitter or a temperature sensor directly without an expansion module. The four transistor outputs each source up to 0.3 A at signal "1" over the 0–55 °C range, with short-circuit protection at 1 A (electrical) built in. The 24 V DC supply is tolerant from 20.4 V to 28.8 V, so it rides through a sagging battery bus on a mobile platform.
Memory, backup, and Ethernet integration
The logic module stores 400 blocks of program memory and carries a 480-hour power reserve (typical) for the real-time clock and retentive data — enough to survive a long weekend shutdown without battery replacement. The integrated Ethernet port hosts a web server and data-logging capability, and the standard microSD card slot accepts LOGO! Soft Comfort V8 or later project files. The module is developed in accordance with IEC 61131, carries CE and marine approval, and meets EN 55011 Class B radio interference limits for residential-area installation.
The 4-SU width is the same footprint as the standard LOGO! base unit, so a panel layout designed around the 6ED1052-2CC01-0BA8 accepts this SIPLUS variant without re-drilling or re-routing. Installation altitude is rated to 5 000 m with derated ambient above 2 000 m per the manual.
