Extended-temperature LOGO! with conformal coating
The Siemens 6AG1052-2MD08-7BA0 is a SIPLUS variant of the standard LOGO! 12/24RCEO (6ED1052-2MD08-0BA0), factory-fitted with conformal coating and qualified for an ambient range of -40 to +70 °C. Cold-start capability begins at -25 °C, with condensation and frost permitted per the spec — though commissioning under condensation is excluded. This is the part to specify when the panel lives in a refrigerated warehouse, an unheated enclosure, or a climate-controlled cabinet that sees thermal cycling below freezing.
I/O map and analog capability
Eight digital inputs are on board; four of those can be configured as analog inputs (0 to 10 V). That gives you four analog channels without an expansion module — enough for a couple of temperature transmitters or pressure sensors in a small machine. The four outputs are relay type, rated 10 A resistive and 3 A inductive. Note that there is no short-circuit protection on the outputs; external fusing is required per the spec.
Mounting and power supply
The 12/24 VDC supply range is 10.8 to 28.8 V DC; a 480-hour power reserve keeps the program and retentive data safe during a line outage. The IP20 enclosure means it lives inside a sealed cabinet — not on the machine frame exposed to washdown.
