Cold-chain digital I/O module
This Siemens SIPLUS LOGO! 6AG1055-1MB00-2BY1 is the wide-temperature variant of the standard LOGO! digital I/O module. Its -40 °C minimum ambient means it runs cold and stays cold in freezer aisles, cold rooms, and outdoor enclosures where standard electronics fail. Four digital inputs and four relay outputs provide basic on/off control and status feedback for valves, fans, defrost relays, and alarm contacts. Input voltage range accepts 10.8–28.8 V DC (11–27.5 V above 55 °C).
Standard LOGO! modules (6ED1055-1MB00-0BA2) share the same footprint and rail clip position, so this SIPLUS unit drops into an existing panel layout without drilling or terminal rework. Height 90 mm, depth 55 mm. IP20 protection suits clean indoor environments. Relay outputs switch resistive loads up to 5 A per relay (3 A above 55 °C, 10 A total across all four). Inductive loads limited to 3 A per relay; at elevated ambient (>55 °C) that drops to 1 A continuous, though 15-second surges at 3 A are permitted. No short-circuit protection integrated; external fusing is required on each output channel if loads can fault.
The 6AG1055-1MB00-2BY1 is an active, current-production part (lifecycle status: current). There is no last-time-buy pressure. Supply is stable through Siemens distribution channels, but because this is a SIPLUS extended-temperature variant, it may not be routinely stocked everywhere.
