Communication and control interface
The Siemens 6AG1124-1QC02-4AX0 is a SIMATIC HMI panel equipped with 36 configurable function keys and industrial communication protocols: MPI, PROFINET IRT (with WinCC subsequent version), MODBUS TCP/IP. It also includes DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, LLDP, and CSV/CSS data exchange. Temperature range spans -20 to 60 °C, making it suitable for panels in unheated enclosures or near ambient extremes. The part drives alarms, arrays, and supports XML, HTML, and ActiveX objects for custom visualisation.
Physical interface and extras
Beyond the 36 keys, this HMI includes sliders, a speaker, and a printer interface. It has no buzzer, no CAN port, and no Java VM. The housing is not plastic. USB, Flash, and a LOGO! interface are present. WinAC RT, MRP (with WinCC subsequent version), and RDB are supported for real-time and redundancy applications. The panel is intended for direct integration into Siemens automation architectures where an operator interface with physical tactile keys is preferred over a fully touch-based screen.
